Cory W. Ferguson

We are excited to welcome special guest, Cory W. Ferguson this Good Friday. Ferguson is a native Daytonian and a graduate of Colonel White High School for the Arts. Minister Ferguson also graduated from Cincinnati Christian University, where he double majored in Biblical Studies and Worship Ministry and is currently pursuing a Master of Ministry degree through Cedarville University. He is a licensed minister through Liberated in Christ Ministries, Inc. and has served as a musician, choir director, youth pastor and worship leader in numerous churches throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan.

Minister Ferguson has been an educator in the Dayton area for over 17 years and currently serves as elementary principal and shepherd at East Dayton Christian School. Throughout his time at EDCS, he has taught middle school and junior high Bible, founded the Music and Worship Arts program and served the school community as Campus Ministries Director. Minister Ferguson has one son, Nicholas, but many other children, some now adults, who call him dad. He says his life has become an offering to the Lord and his experience is best described in Psalm 71:7-8:

“My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.”
